Shinobi - really cool game out for ps2

Alright, maybe I'm a little late, but Shinobi really kicks a$$! it's not really a deep or complicated game, you can only do 5 things (move, jump, dash, slash with sword, or throw darts), but it's extrememly addictive and really fun to play. It's kind of like Smash Bros. in that there only a few things you can do and instead of having specially made combos, you have to make your own by stringing together different moves that are already there. it's not exactly that because there's only one possible combo, there being only one move to string together(darts don't combo), but it's like it. for example: there you are, standing at the edge of a lake of lava. Now, your character can't swim, although that's beside the point. There are enemies floating all around in the air above the lake. What you do is this: you jump, use the dash move in midair to get to the nearest enemy, kill that, use the dash move through the air to the next one, kill that one, dash to the next, kill it and so one until you've gotten across the lake of lava by dashing from one enemy to the next in mid air. Now, this may sound cheesy, but it's a lot better when you then get to see a really cool-looking cutscene of you killing 24 monsters in the space of a few seconds.

Someone told me Shinobi is only four levels long...is that true?

Well, I was on level 5 when I had to go home, (I was at my friend's house) so i thinks there are more than 4 levels. Also, each level has 2 parts.

Got my ass kicked by the guy at the end of stage 2 b/c I didn't know what to do, but man it's just ... prime. Smile

Anywho.

All the mags I've read gave that game a 6 outta ten. All of them. PSM, Game Informer, Next Generation(6 being three stars.).

But from what I've heard from other gamers, this game is like the sheeyit.

naw shinobi is a good game cause this dude can like chase his scarf, and he can like do the matrix and fly all over the place and can climb on walls!!
