Hey guys! ^_^ Sorry I'm late on the pics, but initially I wanted to simply post a selection of about a dozen pics and accompany that with a 56k warning... but turns out I have over 50 to show off.

Anyway, sorting and resizing the pics was a long progress, so was making this post. If you want to have the full complement of pics, unresized, you can get them here. The file is 50 MBs and you'll need WinRAR to open it up.

DAY 0: Thursday

The order of the way was to pick up the rest of the POsse arriving by plane, pick up our tickets at the hotel and then get over to Ru San's for some sushi. I say sushi but I think almost everyone went for Teriyaki or sumpthin'...

Anyway, so we started looking over what were were gonna order while Shino was passing around pieces of paper so we could keep track of our stuff. We also took some time to make acquaintances with each other. Let's point out Shino was pretty damn proud or his extra-large beer, which had mysteriously appeared before anyone else's drink.

It was then that I was introduced to the Sake Bomb: pick up half a glass of beer, drop a shot of sake inside andchug the whole thing. It was at that moment that I realized either Daijaga got drunk way too easily, or I had a high alcohol tolerance, 'cause I gotta tell you, that drink didn't do its purpose of getting me "shitfaced". I even ordered two jugs of sake and it didn't have any effect.

(Actually, I have a trick: my stomach gives me warning signs before I have the opportunity to get drunk. Basically, I can't get drunk without puking beforehand.)

So here comes a piece de resistance: Tempura soft shell crab. Looks big, but turns out the two biggest pieces were fried vegetables.

So were's all busy eating and having fun. In the meantime, I discover the new meaning of fire when I eat a Godzilla Maki smothered in hot sauce. :O It was then that ScrumYummy decided to try a Sake Bomb, an experience that left her in a permanent happy state. She couldn't even stand up afterwards.



DAY 1: Friday

Probably the most difficult day as far as setting up went. We had a layout in mind but it was time to put it into practice, a maneuver that wasn't without its mishaps.

Early in the morning, PRG comes up and brandishes a special Doot shirt, which made said Doot feel awesomely badass for the reminder of the day.

Cosplaying is too troublesome.

Then, somewhere at 11 o' clock... we reveal A Brick.

This guy drew me a pic which I'll upload later. And instawin for the 4chan references. I think I heard "POOL'S CLOSED!" more often than at any time in my life, especially when the elevator doors opened to reveal a tightly packed chamber of forced cuddles.

So our table was going well, we had several people coming in for a chat, and we had tons of merchandise and two binders full of PO pics to show off! Then Nacht came in with an awesome top hat, so I took a pic!

After packing things back up into the rooms, we hung around and chatted until somebody figured it was almost midnight and we maybe should get dinner at Denny's, allowing Faye to point out the logical error that arose from a non-Texan eating steak next to two Texans not eating steak.



DAY 2: Saturday

Things were a lot easier that time. The table was already there and we had left the dressing on, so all we needed to do was place the computers, projector, swag and binders back where we had planned. This allowed most of us to start wandering early and catch shots of serveral great cosplays:

Then during the afternoon, Unatrike began interviewing PO members. Almost all the staff had something to say and there was definitely POcast material in there.

And then, all of a sudden, Doot gets her Brick costume, Andsectoid dons his Trogdor suit, and it's a fight to the death!!!

Oh yeah, while we were all being social and making friends and such, SOME PEOPLE were busy playing Magic in a corner.

Later on, I found some dude in a kickass costume of Renji Abarai. The picture really doesn't do him justice - it looks like he's got no hair from my angle! But really, it was one of the few cosplays that really felt authentic.

And Brick wins Katana's heart.

Later on in the afternoon, we all got ready to make Brick walk around while Terin would interview people and ask questions about him. It's thus that Brick got to meet new people, namely Ed and Hoenheim in the middle of an argument, Bananaphone, and one of the Contra heroes.

Sakura appeared late on the album despite being there all day. The reason was that I simply hadn't recognized her!

And this guy, well... is quite the winner.
