how do i go online - what do i use

do i hook my gc modem adaptor to a phone line or to my computer
do i use a internet service of my own cause it says it doesnt work with compuserve
how do i use it

aol, compuserv and prodigy do not work with PSO. It is a restriction from the isp. The don't have the cabability to do online gaming or something like that. Anyone else know details about this?

To get online you will need to get another ISP. You can probably get one of those that are like $7 a month or something like that.

I use cable modem, that's my suggestion. But then you are looking at spending another $35 for the broadband adaptor instead of the modem.

Keep in mind that PSO is $9 a month to be online.

Well, I do know that AOL doesnt work because its a program based ISP. So you need AOL ver whatever you have to run it. You better get another ISP. I have Earthlink which I havent had any problems playing PSO with it, even though it sucks to use it on a computer.
Now be sure to know that you have to go to the options on the Gamecube and be sure that the date and time are input correctly. Then go to the options on the PSO disc and fill out the ISP options. To get online you have to buy a Hunter's Liscence which costs $8.95. To do this you can go through the Buy Hunter's Liscence on the options menu on the PSO disc or just go to www.sega.com/pso_gcn
