Capcom has announced plans to revive its 1985 action classic Makaimura (known as Ghosts n' Goblins in the US). Makaimura Online is a PC MMORPG which will offer its players eleven main characters and six different jobs (knight, archer, vampire, warrior, animal tamer and dragon rider). The game will make use of Renderware's 3D engine and feature comic-style visuals.
Makaimura Online is currently set for a spring 2004 release in Japan.
As a fan of the original games it will be interesting to see how Capcom pull this off. |
