I'm feelin' a bit rusty - Com'mon Ultrawolf~

[Sakura]

Sakura entered the battledome, kicking up dust on the ground. Pickle leaped off her shoulder and looked over the area. The girl cladded in green and pink started to wrap bandages over her hands, knowing what was ahead of her.

"He should be here," the teddy bear replied up to the girl. "Patience Pickle! You seem so worked up!" She laughed a little and knealed, patting her companion on the head.

Sakura stood back up, pushing her hair behind her ear as a gust of wind came in through the top of the dome. Cherry blossoms swirled around her as she released a couple to feel the energy run through her.

Hoped it would never come to this.
Relax.
Take a deep breath if you have to,
but you've stalled enough already.
Any longer and the match might as well be forfeit.
Might not be too bad of an idea,
but those Green eyes won't let you.

You don't like it, but you need this fight.
There's a high risk for failure, but you have a chance.
You're a skilled fighter and this is just another rung up the ladder.
Another meal in your belly and another night with a roof over your head.

Alexander Grey closed his eyes for a moment.

Wish it didn't have to be like this.
Hanging onto the edge,
Drifting from place to place,
Living fight after fight.
It almost seems to never end...
"Alexander?"
but those eyes...
"It's time to go Kaede."

Alexander stepped forward into the arena.

Just keep telling yourself,
'This is just another job.
Just another body between you and what you need'
Only when you see those Blue eyes, so very familiar,
You get that feeling, like you always do...
Your heart beats faster and all you can think of is Spring.
You see those pink blossoms and you remember...
"Sakura..."
Kaede.

Alexander Grey drew his scimitar.
"I won't hold back."

[Sakura]

Sakura looked up from Pickle, looking over the other, "Hold back? No need! It's nice to see you again though." She rocked forward on her combat boots, holding her hands behind her back as she swayed forward with a grin.

"How have you been?" As she spoke, her hand glided to her side as cherry blossoms swirled around and shattered as a thin but very durable blade rested in her bandaged hand.

"I've been doing fantastic. Been here and there, out of Miniopia, back in Miniopia. Still no luck finding my sister, but alas, finding myself." Her hand lifted the metal, fingers wrapped around the handle. "I promise I won't hold back either. In there end, no hard feelings, right?" Sakura threw up her other hand as thousands of blossoms fell over the dome and onto the ground.

"While I've been gone, a few things have changed...." She cut her sentence off as she threw her hand down, allowing all the blossoms grow pointed edges and flew towards the other, "...I've learned a lot of new things."

[Ultrawolf]

"Huh."
Alexander was caught completely unaware. The razer blossoms knocked his scimitar out of his hand. He grit his teeth.

You let your guard down old man.
She's right, things have changed.
You're not too hurt, just your pride.
And your coat.

He threw the coat off and proceeded to draw his katana.
"I've been better."
Alexander paused, reflecting on his statement.

Yeah, I've been better.
Not that bad though, all things considered,
I have a purpose now. My life has meaning.
Kaede needs me and I won't fail her.
Not now, not ever.

"You've been gone a long time and the world has changed. There is still as much darkness as there ever was in this world. Power for the taking for those strong enough to claim it. There are few who will still stand against those who seek to shift the balance. You may have learned a lot in your travels..."
Alexander snapped his fingers.
"But so have I."

Alexander's shadow separated from his body.
"Twilight, It's Double Time!"
The shadow rose from the ground, picked up the fallen Scimitar and nodded. In tandem, they rushed towards Sakura, preparing to assault her from two sides.

[Sakura]

Sakura stepped back a few, glancing at the two figures running towards her. "Pickle!" On comand, the teddy bear ran in front of her quickly and grew into a larger animalistic bear, his size bigger than a normal bear's. Sakura shrunk into the small plushie size as the bear took a couple of swings to knock away the other two coming towards his companion.

The bear felt something hit him on his side, causing him to return to his plushie form as Sakura leaped up from the ground, returning to her humanistic form. "Oooh..." Her head spinned a little, for she hadn't really used that move before and she wobbled to the side, placing her free hand against her temple, trying to focus. Her hand kept clenched around the sword, using a few blossoms around her to sense anything near, but her head continued to spin.

[Ultrawolf]

"Hnh!"
Alexander was knocked against the side of the arena by Pickle's swipes.
"That was...unexpected.."

Twilight immediately dropped the scimitar,
dissapearing for a moment, only to reappear as Grey's shadow.
Alexander staggered to his feet, waving his katana back and forth slightly.

Wasn't ready to stop so soon.
Feels like I have a splitting headache.
It'll pass... but I can't wait that long.
Focus Grey, Focus.
Now you're the one seeing double.

He stepped forward to meet Sakura who was between him and his Scimitar. Not a position he was happy with.

Gotta keep her busy, distracted.
Last thing I need is my own sword being used against me.
He wobbled a little too far to the left and tripped.

Alright, maybe this isn't a good plan.

[Sakura]

"Uugh..." She shook her head and tried to finally focus her vision. Pickle tapped on the side of her leg, "Sakura! Com'mon!" The girl glanced down and nodded but at the corner of her eyes, she noticed the other tripping. At that moment she quickly threw her hand back and formed an ergy ball, tossing it against the other's stomach, who was very close at the time.

Pickle spotted the Scimitar on the ground and started to tug it away, trying to hide it.

Sakura continued to advance towards the other after blasting the ergy at him, swinging her thin blade towards him.

[Ultrawolf]

"Hurkh"
Alexander coughed as the ergy ball hit him dead-on,
he almost lost his grip on the Katana but he clung on tight.

Not good.
He jumped back just narrowly missing the blade's edge.
Not good.
Alexander tumbled, losing his balance.
Not good.
His left eye flashed as he felt the all too familiar rage boil over him.
Really... not... good.

"Rrrr..."
He stood up, and shook his head.
Alexander's eye began to pulse as his sword came to match Sakura's.
"No Rest... No Mercy."
He kicked some sand up from the arena floor.

[Sakura]

Her hand moved over the dust with a small gust of wind to keep the dust from hitting her face. A smirk crossed over the girl's fine, pink lips, a hint of ivories peaking out between the two petals, the sword extended towards the other, "Sounds fair to me."

Pickle finished hiding the Scimitar before standing on the other side of the two, behind Alexander, but unnoticably far back. He observed their stances and kept away from it, knowing his help was not needed at the time.

"Your move..." Her smirk relaxed into a smile with knitted eyebrows, keeping calm.

[Ultrawolf]

"Rrr...ahhh!"
Ultrawolf made a diagonal slash with the katana.
He advanced further, trying to stay the aggressor.

Stop smiling.
Stop....Smiling!

The flashing eye pulsed again and again.
Ultrawolf roared, half in anger, half in pain as the rage consumed him.
He staggered back a few feet as his body began to shake,
as his control began to slip. With one last gesture and another snap of his finger, the scimitar hummed and returned to it's sheath, along with the katana. The right eye dilated and the deed was done.

Alexander lost control,
The beast had claimed dominance.
Ultrawolf roared.
