Meeting at the Black Forest

[Sakura]

"By Mod, it's been ages since I've been here." Sakura nibbled on some chocolate p-okie as she handed over some fish p-okie to Pickle. "Thank you Sakura!" The bear sat on her shoulder, nibbling on it as he observed the area.

She made her way over to a tree and sat down, leaning against it. It had been three days since the battle and she didn't even know why she agreed upon coming here. A search for her sister could take a break and she continued to nibble on her p-okie, waiting for Alexander to arrive.

[Ultrawolf]

Alexander ran through the forest, something was stalking him.
He sniffed the air and caught it's scent, along with another.
Damn, has it been three days already?
He followed the second scent, the pleasant one.

Alexander unsheathed his scimitar and used it to clear his path.
"Lady Sakura!", He roared.

I'm so stupid.
I expected to waltz into my old safehouse after all this time,
Easy as pie, in and out with my supplies,
Should have suspected something with that strange,
unfamiliar scent lingering around the place.
Should have stopped,
turned around and gotten as far as I could.
Had to walk right through the door into an ambush.
Whole place went up in flames.
Someone'd rigged the entry with explosives,
and it sure as hell wasn't me.
Lucky, I was able to Step Sideways at just the right moment and swap places with Twilight. Sure he's probably sore about that.

Was hoping whoever it was, was long gone.
The entire perimeter was trapped,
Didn't want me walking away I expect.
Either way, they know I'm here now.
Smell it in the air,
Whatever it is, It's not good and I've led Lady Sakura right to it.
Have to find her before it does.

[Sakura]

Pickle stood up and looked around, hearing the call, "I hear him coming." He tugged on Sakura's kimono a bit before stepping back. The girl finished off her snack and stood up, wiping her hands off and straightened her clothing.

She stood towards the direction of twigs snapping, leaves rustling and the sound of the roar. Her head cocked to the side along with her hip, placing her hand along the curve of her body. Once Alexander arrived, she simply smiled. Not one for many words, she hands over the other half of her p-okie, it's half-contents still wrapped carefully.

[Minosheep]

"He's taking his sweet time," whispers a voice from the shadows of the trees. "Punctuality is apparently below such people...."

Demonic steps out into the light to stand at Sakura's side. "You know that I distrust everyone, especially people with honor," he tells Sakura. "They take it in mind to do the dumbest things to fulfill one promise or another. At least you have me here doing my own filthy honor-bound duty." He shoots Pickle a dirty look at the end of the statement.

[Ultrawolf]

Alexander approached Sakura.
"Lady Sakura we ha- oh hey. Chocolate, my favorite..."
He reached out to accept her offering, when he caught another scent.

"You!"
Alexander turned to glare at Demonic.
"I thought I left you for dead in that forsaken Minosheep dungeon.
What are you doing here?"
He grit his teeth.

Not the scent from the safehouse,
but not an altogether pleasant one either.
"Nevermind! We need to get out of here,
I'll deal with you later Demonic!"
Alexander's left eye erupted with a flash.

[Minosheep]

Demonic shrugs, making no show of caring for Ultrawolf's threat. "So long as you don't get in my way, I won't have to deal with you first," he answers casually, then turns in place to watch Sakura coolly. "After you, m'lady." It's not altogether clear whether he's mocking or not; he makes it hard to tell.

[Sakura]

The girl just remained cool and casual. She knealt down and scooped up her teddy bear, placing him on her shoulder, "I'll follow. Lead the way Alexander." As soon as the other took off, she sprinted lightly on her toes as a gust of wind and scarce blossoms assisted her.

She had no need to glance over her shoulder to see if Demonic followed, for she could sense him. "...what are the details Alexander?" Sakura kept her pace slower so not to pass the other, her path turning serpentine to remain cautious.

[Tobias]

The axe head took flight, screaming down towards the Vagrant. Tobias rolled out of the way, leaving the only thing the Axe cleaved were the dirt and grass below him. A quick recovery, and Tobias took charge forward, Eden still secured on his back.

It had been almost a year since the last one attacked him. The Void was something that was constantly at his heels. He thought that it was over with.
Done with.

The axe came across like a hurricane. Tobias went down beneath the blade as he advanced, closing into critical range with his enemy, laying a swift kick in the sternum of his foe. He watched the giant stumble back, regaining his balance quicker than Tobias had expected.

Tobias stood his ground as the mammoth man charged at him, his eyes glowing an eerie purple.

[Ultrawolf]

Alexander's flashing eye pulsed.
"Something's gone horribly wrong. My safehouse was raided, all my supplies were taken as well as some very valuable artifacts. Things I should have destroyed a long time ago..."
He sniffed the air, it was the foul scent again.

Alexander's eyes widened.
"No...It can't be..."
He drew his katana as the earth began to rumble around them.
"Fight or Flee, it is your choice Lady Sakura...
I will follow you to the ends of this world.
The Void has returned."

[Minosheep]

Two faintly luminous blades leave their sheathes of their own accord, floating gently into the waiting hands of their wielder, their master.

"I've no idea what you're playing at, puppy, but you'd better start explaining things to us."

Demonic is clearly rankled by Alexander's attitude toward Sakura, a slight protective streak showing through. The swords in his hands are not meant for Alex, though, as they are held loosely at his sides and his attention is on the trees around them.

"Void, eh? I'll give them void...." One side of Demonic's mouth lifts in a snarl.
