Lazy Assed Mofo's

As most of you know, I run a site called Gamepulse.

It's never really gone anywhere to be honest, not due to my own hard work however but due to others just not having the passion or anything it seems.

I started off with NBK and Ultrapuppy on hand, but that didn't work out, mainly due to time differences and stuff. Then there was the "a4paper" era, things were going at a great pace, we had some great idea's like a bi-monthly PDF "magazine" which at the last minute he decided to take off on his own, taken a bunch of Gamepulse staff with him (news editor and art director), to be fair, the art guy didn't have a lot to do on the site so that was understandable.

Now I'm left with staff that have written about 10 reviews between them in the past 6 months, with the exception of myself and one other guy Ben, and I'm tihs >< close to kicking them all out ready for the new site. We've had no new features, nothing to draw in any new comers.

I'm wanting the new site (launching in the middle of Jan) to come out with a huge BANG, but again, its only myself and one other guy (Ben) who seem to be working on anything for it, I've been hard at work on the structure and appearance of the site while he's been trying to write article after article.

Between the pair of us we've come up with some great ideas that could make the new site different from your average gaming website, but no one seems willing to actually work with us. I've made 5 or 6 posts over the past fortnight on the Gamepulse staff forums trying to see what others think and have had 0 replies to all of them.

It just REALLY pisses me off.

Wish I could help but the whole time diff and my lacking in 1337 gamer knowhow might not be of that much help afterall.

I am a tech writer by trade though...well, sort of. I write corporate drivel, I mean proposals for a living.

I wish I could help but I'm "Computarded". I do good just to find my way to the PO on a semi-regular baisis. You do, however, have my undying moral support! I wish you luck and, even though I really don't game all that much, I promise to fave and visit your site upon it's unvailing! Mr. Green

Well, one of my main issues lies with Review Code being sent out, but no one producing the goods (or producing it after a good badgering!) wihch none of you guys wold be able to help with unfortunately as its all PAL.

I might be looking for someone to write a piece about gaming in the states every once in a while.

And anytime any of you guys feel like writing ANYTHING gaming related, give me a shout when its done and I can check it out and probably put it on the site with full credits to you.

It could even be a review of a game you've just bought, and unless its already been coverd on the site, chances are it will go up as an import review.
