Not sure this should go in Jibba Jabba or not, but its more of a plea to digital artists.

So....yeah. Papyrus font is one of the MOST overused font in design, be it billboards, magazine ads, movie text, graphic design, webpages, logos, books - just about damn near everything. Is it a cool looking font? Yes, but there are a qua-billion (yes thats a word, be it a ME word...but a word none the less) other fonts that are just as cool if not COOLER than Papyrus. Your're probably thinking "I've never used it." - yes you have, and you probably used lensflare in photoshop too...but I'm not judging. Hell I used both papyrus AND lensflare for a design I did a LONG time ago. *shudders*

Here is the font for those who don't know what I'm talking about.

So just say no to Papyrus font and all will be well, becuase everytime someone uses it - Chibi Knight has to kill someones imaginary friend...and right now I'm just friggin tired of wrestling with air.

This has been a PSA from CK concerning fonts in PS. Now you know...
and knowing is half the battle

You'll be happy to hear I've never used that font. There's only a handful I've ever used. I use comic for word balloons, and the various Transformers fonts for whatever TF pics I happen to need them for. That's about it, not including some of the more generic fonts I used for minor things.

And whats wrong with lens flare! I use it in pretty much everything, but in a way u cant see it =)

crreating a lensflare effect is fine Robb, its using the standard PS filter that irks me. When I first started teaching myself PS I was told it was a no-no because its considered more of a crutch, kinda like duct tape. Wink

I always put a lensflare effect on all my Papyrus font filled pictures.

Yeah but not the green kryptonite, its the one that would make me very aggitated and results in me killing peoples imaginary friends...
