i read that we get brain freeze form cold liquid against the roof of our mouths. it cools the blood and tissues and whatnot.
i mean think about it, the roof of your mouth is a hole right into your brain. |

Yup, if you get a brain freeze - press your tongue to the roof of your mouth. It warms up and eases the freezing.
Then continue to eat your smoothie/ice cream/popcicle/frozen pleasure.
