Nice!
I may go back to Guild Wars if they bring it out on PS3. Very Happy

E3 2007: NCsoft Announces PS3 Exclusivity Deal
More online games headed to Sony's console.
By Philip Kollar, 07/12/2007
The war for exclusives marches on. Sony and MMO publisher NCsoft announced today that they have solidified a deal that put more MMORPGs on the PS3 and PSP. SCEA vice president of third-party and developer support Riley Russell spoke to how excited Sony is about the deal:

"NCsoft has established itself as one of the preeminent developers in the online space. Their track record of creating successful online games is exactly what we are looking for as we grow the PlayStation Network, delivering new, rich experiences on both PS3 and PSP. SCEI's hardware leadership, matched with NCsoft's extensive online experience, are the hallmarks of what is sure to be a fruitful relationship for both companies, ultimately benefiting our core audience -- the gamer."

NCsoft has not released any official word on what titles are part of this deal, but said the list will include new IPs, as well as console editions of some of NCsoft's older titles, which include such online hits like Guild Wars and the Lineage series.

Last year, Microsoft stole away Cryptic Studios -- the developer of one of NCsoft's most popular games, City of Heroes -- to work on the Xbox 360-exclusive Marvel Universe Online.

I wonder is NCSoft will cut Cryptic off completely now that they are working with Microsoft and NC is with Sony. Hmmm...

The article said that MS picked up Cryptic.

As for the article, City of Heroes and Guild Wars were the only NCsoft games I played. And even when I played them, it was not for a very extensive period that I did with WoW. Doesn't matter for me, but I am sure it will for the those who are fans of their games.

I don't know if MS actually picked up Cryptic. It sounds like they are just on to do the one game... not an exclusive developer.

I loved Guild Wars. I would say that I didn't play it as much as WoW, but that's mainly b/c less people were playing Guild Wars.

If it came out on PS3, I would probably pick it up. It would probably be Guild Wars 2 though, since the next expansion is the last one for Guild Wars.

You mean the only expansion. Factions and Nightfall are stand alone games. Very Happy

But I think this'll be good for the PS3 if they can get a good title on board and inter connect with PC gamers.
