Please do not post spoilers for the last Harry Potter book. Or at least, if you do, PLEASE make sure you alert that there will be spoilers and either put the spoilers in white in a quote so they're invisible, or at least move the spoiler waaaaaaaaaay down in the post so that we don't even have to glance at them if we don't want to.

I am less concerned about it for myself, but I know that it can cause a lot of heartache and drama. This goes not just for PO (though we don't have problems with that here because everyone is awesome on this board) but, have care on other forums and sites and stuff too.

Yeah. I was about to start a war every time, after the last two books, some moron would type in all caps "_______ DIES!" randomly in forums >___<

PO needs spoiler tags, yesh :B but quoting in white will do for now.

So, did anybody get one of the leaked books, or download it? :O

I saw that it had been posted in one of my livejournal communities and promptly de-friended the community so I wouldn't be tempted to read it.....mostly because I'm afraid I'd ruin it for someone else more than I'm worried about getting spoiled. Still, it'd be nice if I read for myself in my own copy the ending before I get to the end. xD

No spoilers is best, of course, but knowing that there are false spoilers about mixed in with true ones would allow me to dismiss all spoilers as unverified and false, preserving at least some of the enjoyment of the book.

But yes, please, for the sake of all the Harry Potter fans on this board, no spoilers, please.

Well, I'll only talk about Harry Potter here (its the only community I'm on where there are fans of the books/films/world).

I got back from Sainsbury's (UK Supermarket) with a copy about an hour ago, Chixie's reading it first, as is customary as she'll probably finish it by tomorrow morning and I'm a much slower reader. She's already on Chapter 5 now.

One thing though, I've seen the US version has over 150 pages or something more than the UK version, any ideas on this? Could it be typeface or slightly smaller pages or something like that because surely the text will be the same (with some slight translations to make up for the Americanisms or what have you)
