: 3 Okay, I have like, a whole slew of people ((hehehe, three...)) who have this particular hairstylish-thing... It's like... a hybrid of hair and feathers... so... um... the evil girl is here (if the link doesn't work, it's because of that whole GeoCities thing), but she's just to show you how the hair kind of works... : D Anywho... um...

Okay, this was one of those "from-sketch-to-ink" all in Photoshop, so the qualities not too good, but it's better in... some... instances... um.... Okay, the coloring... ARGH... I know it's bland, but I was trying to do a whole "3D" thing, but Josh was right next to me coloring his Tetsuo picture and I was getting frustrated that his coloring was coming out so bold and paint-like while mine was all soft... I mean like... SNUGGLES soft... <---banishes his feminine style to Martha Stewart's home ...so I just did cell style. ^ ^;

I'm happy with the diagram on his forhead ((yes.. it's kind of "unseeable," I realize)), mainly because it's different than my usual ones ((I do all my diagrams by hand. : D Wee)). Um... Wheep.

Oh and another observation: KOS-MOS has natural high heels. Just like any android you will find in any sci-fi flick or game. Werd!

As for the picture, I was working on the inks and sketch last week, which didn't take too long--probably about... 20 minutes to sketch and ink, with a few extra in there for my being lazy and deleting things. The 3D coloring took the longest--I was on an 50 minutes or so into it before I was upset with how boring it was coming along.

The cell-style colors weren't done until yesterday. THAT didn't take long at all, since I had all the base colors from the other shading, so it took about... another 15-20 max. I'm pretty quick with cell once I have the nuetral tones blocked in. So, I guess this was about a 35-40 minutes piece... A little longer than I normally take, but I had the whole "sketching" process at work, and I'm REALLY anal with my sketches ((especially if I'm going to ink them)). The inking was a pain because, unlike Josh, I'm not too friendly with the pen tool ((too much of it in my Adobe Illustrator class)), so I like using the paintbrush and what-not.

...okay, I'm really just stupid. lol

......KOS-MOS is really cute. I want to hug her.
