Thanks to Unastrike, I'm now playing PSU again... online. This time on the 360.
The expansion has me interested again, and they've made a TON of changes for the better IMO.
Money drops have increased SIGNIFICANTLY!
Experience gained has increased by 1/3!
Unfortunatly, Mission points seem to be the same. However... I did get 8MP when I beat the Dragon on Parum when I distinctly remember getting 7 when playing on PC/PS2. Maybe they did increase it ever so slightly.
They've added some new things to the combat too. Now you can counter attack after a block and you get a power bonus if you time your attacks correctly (instead of button mashing). They have a visual distinction if you have the expansion.
Mags are back. There's 2 types. One that attacks for you and one that you can use to cast spells.
Not to mention Slicers. They've also added Whips which look really fun.
There's 2 new online classes. I'm aiming for one of them. Acrotecher. Specializes in 1 handed weapons and support techs. The other is Acrofighter which speciallizes in one handed weapons and guns.
Started my character yesterday. Shino is a Human Ranger and already level 10. He's heading for the Acrotecher role.
Going to start a Beast for my Fortefighter fix.

Just wanted to make it known that at no point did I ever attempt to coerce Shino to The Dark Side. He came all on his own.
I'm really disappointed about the "Mags"... you can't even really call them that. Sure they look like a mag and float like a mag... but they don't increase your stats nor can you level them up with items. They fire at seemingly random intervals and seemingly random enemies. Not having any control over them, I fail to see their usefulness.
Riva - A majority of the content is for online play to be sure. The PS2 and PC versions however, include all of the offline, storyline content and missions. The 360 is direct download only (no retail box) and does not include offline content.
Buuuuuuuut it's only half as expensive. |

Yeah. I have a Lv 15 guy I think. The 1st time I played it on 360 I played it for so long that my HDD crashed and I had to get it replaced.  |

As Una said.. it's online and offline stuff.
The offline stuff actually picks up after the story missions that happen in the online game. |
