Please respond to this to my email: lixx@sciler.com
For some reason, I cannot get to the PO site or forums from home.
Its been like this for 2-3 weeks now for some reason.
I can get on from work fine (though Im not supposed to so I try not to so I wont get in trouble).
Any of you brainiacs have any ideas how I can fix this?
I'm on Brighthouse for my internet.
Havent ever had problems getting on before.
I cleared out my cookies, files, history, etc.
I dont know what else to do.
It basically acts like the server is offline, or my internet is down whenver I try to get to the site from home...but from work its just fine and dandy.

I would guess that one of the DNS servers for your ISP cludged up the entry for pocket otaku. If it happens again just unplug your DSL/Cable modem, and plug it back in then do the same thing for your home router/switch if you have one. That should give you a new set of DNS servers.
Generally if you have strange internet problems (e.g. use IM clients or get on MMOs but cannot surf webpages) then the DNS servers for your ISP are screwing up, and you have to just depower then repower the modem. |

nah, it had me blocked because something i evidently typed looked like I was trying to hack into thier stuff...but the example they said isnt like anything I have typed...other than me using my WoW toons names of Lixx and Lixxi and Lixxia? I dunno, ah well  Its fixed. I'm the farthest thing from a Hacker that you'll find, other than me liking hte movie Hackers and the soundtrack of it =P |
