On the February edition of Nintendo Power, Nintendo reveals a new Sonic the Hedgehog game. It's an RPG and it's being developed by Bioware. So, I would expect it to be good.
Here's a linko for the official site. Not a lot has been revealed in the site, but apparently the Nintendo Power has more info.
All I can think of is... Super Mario RPG. I hope this game is as good. Well, it's made by Bioware, of course it will be! |

Some stuff here obviously, as it doesn't appear to be officially released stuff, I've no idea how reliable it is. |

I didn't find a lot of info. Joystiq says it's for the DS, but there's not a lot of info out there.

-"fully animated cut scenes"
-simple dialogue trees

The Nintendo Power stuff you have is the same as what was in the link I posted, and the initial announcement stated it was for DS. |
