I had signed up for the free trial version of PotC Online and was having enough fun with that. THis game, however, seems like the same game but with more intellectual and game-minded players in mind. Wonderful! I can't wait to get my own French Naval Officer going. Or perhaps I'll just be a meager trader, who cares, the choice is mine!
And we get to blow up those darn, dirty Dutch! |

I have not actually played the game yet. I am going to, however, as I promised him that I would once it came out. So as soon as I get a suitable computer, I'll probably pick it up. Although I'm not sure of what competitive advantage he could give anyway.

I always fear picking out what I perceive as being the popular choice. For instance, I feel like Pirate and Naval Officer will be the overwhelming majority within the game, and I therefore don't feel comfortable in selecting those. |

Actually Shammy it depends on the server. I'm currently on Bellamy which seems to be a US / Europe server and all categories are currently even.
When choosing the server you wish to play on they actually show you the amount of players of that type, per type.
Well once again I had fun last night beating up on the British Merchant Ships. |

Do they really? Thanks a bunch for the information, I'm glad to know they give you some insight as to whether your pirate will be another one of 10,000 pirates among 10,005 players. I'll also keep Bellamy in mind if I pick this game up. |
