OK guys, I was a bit skeptical about this one, but after watching some videos and hearing about what the game was, I took a chance and grabbed the game. And boy am I glad I did.

Think about it as a brain training game with a story and a town to explore.

It's made by Level 5 (Rogue Galaxy, Jeanne D'arc) and man did they do a great job. It's not your typical Japanese game though. The animation style is actually more of a European style.

Basically, a man in a town that is obsessed with puzzles and brain teasers has passed on and left a treasure called the "Golden Apple" behind, but no one can seem to find it.

So the widow contacts you in hopes that you can help out.

Well everything you have to do in the game requires the completion of some kind of puzzle. Sometimes they are actually part of the story, others they are just puzzles that you will find or people you talk to will give you.

For instance, when you first get to the town, there is a draw bridge, however the man that is across the way doesn't know which crank to use to lower the drawbridge. So you have to figure out which of the cranks is the right one.

Each puzzle is worth points and you get more points for the harder puzzles. Recently I've been having more trouble with the medium puzzles as opposed to the harder ones because I try to over think them.

Anyway. This game is the Puzzle Quest of brain training games. It has a story that is... well... it's a story. And the puzzles are all different and make you really think.

I would suggest it to anyone that is looking for a good puzzle/brain training type game.
