I am posting to ask everybody for your hopes and prayers. My dear aunt has had a pulmonary embolism on the way home from work this evening, and according to the doctors, the chances are slim that she will survive the night.
There is one rule. Think happy thoughts. My Aunt Deb is a kind, outgoing, fun-loving individual, and hearing sad people would only make her angry. Give her your strength, your love, and your happiness, and she might, just might, pull through. That is all I ask, and the best that can be hoped for. Thank you. |

We'll all be praying for her. And we'll all have smiles on her face, waiting for her speedy recovery.
It's unfortunate, but keep the faith man. You said she would hate seeing a sad face. Now is not the time to have a sad face. If you need me, call me senor. I'll be around.

Well...my aunt has passed. Thank you. All of you. We did everything we could, but I guess the powers that be wouldn't take no for an answer.
Well, so be it. Next week, I will head up to Massachusetts, and my family and I will sit down and celebrate the life, happiness, generosity, and spirit of my aunt, Debra Biddick. She will be missed.
And I, for one, will do it with a smile on, because she'd slap me otherwise. :p

We are sorry for your loss, but it sounds like Aunt Debra lived a full life, making many people happy, so the celebration of her life will be similarly happy, I think. Because that's the way she wanted it, yes? |

It's terrible to hear that this has happened. But hey, look at it this way - she's got plenty of good people up there to be with, my father included (he'll keep the smile on her face...don't you worry about that.)

How old was she? I'm sorry to hear that this happened to her, and age isnt really a factor in anything, I just hope she had time to enjoy her life and her wonderful and caring family! ~hugs to you and your family~ |
