Read this article, these idiots are acting like this situation wasn't supposed to happen. Take a look.This is funny well at least to me, because it's not a surprise it was bound to happen.
This is the true result of greed, and how it effects our economy pretty soon the gas industry will be forced to drop prices in order to keep their business up. Because people won't be able to pay for fuel, when that happens we will see a dramatic change in gas prices. It won't be long, the reason the unemployment is rising is because people can not afford to hire and pay more workers, due to having to be able to get their asses to work. The domino effect. Or when you take a key part out of a jinga tower what happends? It crumbles. Just like our economy, there's no need to act surprised about this, we all knew it was going to happen just didn't want to hear ourselves, think or speak it, we didn't want to believe. Of course were going to continue onward when those prices drop later on we will be able to breath again. |

The surprise factor is not from the fact that unemployment has risen to the point that it's at right now. It's coming from the fact that it spiked so suddenly from one month to another.
The entire situation really does suck, and like Blackmage, I could go on and on about it, but I'm pretty tired of repeating myself again and again as well. That, and the fact that no amount of complaining in the world is going to change anything anyway, so why bother anymore? The best thing we can all do right now is to try as hard as we can to KEEP our jobs (if we have them), suck it up, make cut-backs where we can, and wait for all of this to blow over, which it eventually will. Personally, I'm hoping that we hit official "recession" and/or rock-bottom as soon as possible, because the faster we do, the faster things will start turning around and coming back to normal.

A lot of people I hear on the news keep saying that prices are going to continue to rise, and while that's true, they have to come down at some point. My theory is that eventually they will hit a point where they will eventually collapse on themselves, and there will be no where to go but down. Either that or they will eventually hit a point that will be the breaking point for most Americans, and THEN, people will rise up and do something about all of this. I'm just surprised that we haven't hit that point yet. I had initially estimated it at around $3.00-3.50/gallon for gasoline. |
