Ok i just got back in tonight from seeing an awesome movie. it is An American Carol (www.americancarol.com). It is the classic scrooge story aimed at a twit/Michael Moore clone. It is great is you like tongue-in-cheek satire and Kelsey Grammer as Patton...well worth the tickets and plus the U.S. Military kicks ass!
It does get a lil off topic in the ACLU points but mostly stays on path. They do get in the way when it comes to applying the Geneva Convention appropriately in the war on terror aka shoot the fucker in the head and keep moving as they are not following the rules/not protected.
All in All i would say it is a fun one to see and then dissect with friends or fact check when you get home to see IF they lied/fabricated/obfuscated a point for the sake of a laugh. Take as many as you can load up and make it a ranty day! |

OMG! That looks so funny! I will definitely have to see that. Unfortunately our theater is under renovation and do not really get to see many "new" movies around here. But once it's been out for a while I'm sure it will come our way. Right now they show movies at the sports bar for free and sometimes they get movies that have offically come out on DVD. Like I said, I have got to see it, I could use a good laugh.
We don't get to hear about new movies until right before they are in the theaters around here, so we are pretty much clueless about stuff like that. Ok, enough rambling....... |
