More reasons to love Rockband...HD desktops!!!

OK, I found this in the RB forums but I doubt everyone's seen/known this so I'll pass it on

First sign up to Rockband's site and register/log in.
You'll have to link your system (PS3 or 360) to your profile. Most features, including this, only work with Rockband 2.
Now take some pics of your character(s) and/or band(s)
Go to the Make Merch link.
Once you're there choose to make a poster (because it gives you the largest canvas).
When you get to the step of customizing the poster take a look at the url above. You'll see two www links. Delete everything from the first www up to the second one. The second one is where your character pic is linked from. Go to that link and you'll see the HD pic of your character (without the char name and RB logo). Now just save this pic to your PC.

You can use the pics for your PC desktop but I used mine to make a reall;y cool PS3 desktop complete with 16 diff pics that change upon startup/desktop reset (like coming out of a game).
