Edit; I'm still sick, but back at work. So, I've added in some of my better pieces. My funny Sushi jewelry still elude me. I know what they're in, but not where the container is.  It'll be a win win situation when I do find them since they're with my Evangellion models from AWA  |

I think I've found a cool way to see what people really think about my jewelry skills. My new office (as I am changing buildings) is hosting a silent auction where I am submitting 8 Jewelry sets...all different sorts. And its all for charity! I'm so excited!!
I plan to take pictures and post before I turn them in tomorrow.  |

Here's a pic of them all together. Each are a set of a necklace and either a matching bracelet or earrings. There are 8 sets total. (whew!  ) I would have individual shots, but I forgot about the pictures until I had already taped them all down. If you want a better look at one, I took some others that pan over sections of the box.
OR, you can come to the silent auction and see them in person. Bids start at $30 for each set.  It is for Charity...and the proceeds go to children in need! Its sponsored by the AT&T Georgia Telecom Pioneers.

Thank you very much! Sadly, the current economy reaches out to things like charity auctions too. It went terrible! We finally got all the sets to "sell" after one of my coworkers bid on one, and got her friend to bid on some of the others. They went between $10-$20 while we had the value set at $30. Needless to say, it was a bit of a letdown for me. I was really excited to see what people thought of my work but, it pooped out on me...and the rest of auction.
As for a commerce shop, I don't really know how to do all that. I checked out Etzy, but it seems flooded with too much jewelry. And there's the whole thing about whether I'd need a business license, and dealing with paying the taxes from any sales.
I don't know...a little extra money would be nice...especially if my HOA passes the decree that we need new roofs....buts that's a grr of a topic. |
