Repo! The Genetic Opera

Repo! The Genetic Opera is a musical movie directed and I think it was written also by the writer/director of Saw 1 through 4.

It's a rock musical opera, (Sounds along the lines of Nightwish), about a company that has mainstreamed cosmetic surgery and organ transplant. It is set in the future where organ failure is an epidemic. The company has perfected a method of renting organ replacement for an generous amounts of money that has to be paid monthly. If parties fail paying 1 payment, they have their own Repo Man that will go and reposes the body part from you, no matter where you are.

As expected from the writer/director of Saw movies, this particular flick does not hold back on blood and gore.

One thing about this though... Paris Hilton is in it. Amazingly enough, she did a pretty good job.

As for my opinion, being a person that doesn't like musical, I loved this movie and it's worth a watch, even if it is just for shock factor!

Yea, I saw it a few weeks ago. It's actually a very good story. It's pretty sad, with some dark humor in it. A good watch for lovers of horror and musicals alike.
