Hello folks! It's been a REALLY long time since I've posted and since then my life has changed drastically and I thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know what has happened.
First things first, I got fired from my travel job, apparently I had too many absences, even though two of them were an emergency situation. Whatever...
I ended up on unemployment for a couple of months and was struggling to make ends meet when I made the decision to move back home and go back to school. Right now I'm living in Green Bay Wisconsin, GO PACK! (LOL) and going to school to become a Paralegal. My first semester is nearly half over!
I've also lost 40 pounds since January 2010 and with a bit more motivation I want to lose about 40 more. Also, since I've moved, I met someone special who I just know is perfect for me. We have a TON in common and just clicked the instant we met. We will be celebrating eight months together on the 28th of October.
My life, though it has been challenging, is extremely blessed. It just reminds me that no matter how dark or down your life is, you can always take that challenge and turn it into an opportunity to make your life better. |

WI huh? unastrike and I have a lot of friends up there.

Updates! I will be marrying the gentleman that I met while in Green Bay June 16th 2012, barely a month after I graduate from Tech school.
This certainly has been a change of life and one of the best decisions I have EVER made. The ceremony space, venue and dress have all been paid for; I have an officiant and photographer; but I am still working on getting a DJ. So many things to think about but it's still far enough away that I'm not TOO stressed.
I'm just amazed about how one little change (moving in with my parents) changed everything for the better. My life begins anew!! |
