I think some of us are nerdy enough to need a thread like this. Basically to talk about your figure scores, figures you just plain enjoy, or stuff coming out you'd like to add to your collection.
I've found myself more in love with collecting action figures and model kits. I have a good variety of stuff I've picked up your normal retailers and cons, but lately, I've been having lots of luck importing some stuff from Japan. Hobby Link Japan has been my go to for some time and it seems to be the best I've seen as far as ordering. I've never had a problem with them and I always get my stuff fairly quickly. Some hauls I've gotten include:
Sengoku Basara Ieyasu Tokugawa
1/72 Crest CR-C840/UL Lightweight Version from Armored Core 3
S.H.Figuarts Shinken Red
Toy Story Woody Revoltech
Anybody else have some good recommendations for grabbing those "must have" figures? |

Oh wow.
I"m really into Star Wars Legos... but that's pretty much it. I don't really have an action figure type collection.
But I do kick myself every time I think about how many of the old school Transformers I had. Ya know... the ones that Mattel actually made out of metal!
I miss those so much. |

I still have a colossal collection of Xevoz. Cousins to Stikfas, they were these super-articulated action figures that you could interchange the parts on. If you were just interested in actual action figures, and didn't care so much about them being connected to an actual franchise or license, these were probably the greatest figs ever made.
But aside from trying to unload them on ebay, I haven't had much contact with them in the past few years. |

Xevoz were pretty cool. I had a bunch of them too, but I started running out of room for everything and I sold them before I knew what they could be worth.
I do have a good amount of the newer Classic line of Transformers. Those are pretty cool because they try to resemble the older toys. Same line that has the Megatron that looks like a Nerf gun. My only issue was that I could never find a lot of Decepticons.
I also picked up the classic Lion-O from ThunderCats that came out recently. Not the greatest as far as articulation goes, but I got the pose I want out of it.
I'm actually craving this guy for Christmas. I've been streaming episodes of Gokaiger and I really hope the show comes stateside soon. They released the Shinken Red figure through Toys R Us, so maybe there's hope for these guys, but it probably won't be for at least 2 years. |

These figures aren't articulated, but they are Chibified, so I think they deserve a spot here. They're totally collectible and so freaking adorable. I have six of them already and I want more!! I mean hell, Captain America sports a cheeseburger and skateboard, totally Kawaii!!

Those are pretty cool, and they do have a t-shirt line with the chibi characters too. I've been a fan of chibi stuff for a while too. I liked the Mighty Muggs stuff, but I think they don't make them anymore.

Full Metal Alchemist: Edward Elric
Holy cow! I'm an FMA nut, and I've been waiting for a Revoltech figure of anybody from FMA. The Play Arts line from Squenix is nice, but I like having more pose-ability. Needless to say, I preordered this guy.
And something PSO RAcaseal nuts will enjoy: Elenor!
It's a model kit, so you have to but it together, which isn't too bad. Aside from that, there are also other colors of the RAcaseal coming out too, each with different mags and weapons. I would go nuts over other characters, but these might be worth it just to get the weapons. Kotobukiya also makes the Armored Core kits, which do have separate weapon packs you can purchase, so I don't see it being too far out of the realm of possibility. |

I bought a Donald Duck comicbook the other day and I got a tiny lego X-Wing with it as a toy. It is super cute and stands on my bookcase. |

No kidding! I think if I were to get one, I'd go with the Yellowboze version. The cool thing is that they have a couple different head options too. I know the RAcaseal is super popular, but it'd be cool to get the other casts. Maybe once PSO2 hits there'll be a bigger demand. |
