Journey for a meaning to being. - help find my past..

Along ago in the Realm of Shadows, a child was born. At birth this child had already faced great hard ships, as his mother had died due to troubles from the start and his father had long ago whent on journey and had never returned, most likely killed in a fight with some form of a being(s). It was at the decision of the city eleders that the child be killed due to a profacy that fortold the total destruction of the realm. One elder how ever had seen potential in the child and decided to hide him in order to save his life. At the execution a shadow worg(a small human like creature that takes the form of children in order to lure them into it's nest to feed), was tricked into looking like the child and was put in his place. The trick whent off well and the child was spared, but his real idenaty would have to be hidden in order to hide him, so a spell was cast to sheild him from unfriendly eyes till he was ready to be let free on to the many realms. Many years pasted and the child grew in the mists of civil wars and political struggles that tore the realm apart. He trained under the elder who saved him when he was a babe and soon developed into a strong fighter that even the elder(a master in rare form of fighting style called shadow combat) had trouble keeping up with him. The young child soon grew into a young boy. At his age of only 14 he had seen many combats and had killed many men. Unknowing to his mentor/ father figure, the young man had begun a great transformation into an almost forgotten fighting style called mimicry(long thought to have been lost in the great wars, centries ago). Many more years passed and the young man had soon grown into a powerful man who could take on just about anyone and use their powers against them with great speed and skill.
One day while he was doing his training a messanger came to his cottage and delevered a note marked from his mentor who had gone on a pilgrimage to the shrine of souls seeking answers to his students great powers. The note had told him to leave the realm as the spell that had protected him for so long was wareing off day by day alowing the enemy to find almost exactly were he is. In the note, it also contained two keys, one witch was to be used for a storage trunk in the attic of the cottage, the other was one of unknow oragen. His master told him that this key would someday unlock a path to him that could lead him to one great question he had hoped would be answered. He was also told to leave the Realm of Shadows and to procead to the Realm of the Earth, were he would then need to gather a party that would be willing to risk life and lim for a cause that would not promase wealth or fame.
So under the cover of darkness, he open the storage trunk and took from it the a rare shriken that was pulseing with dark energy and put on the armor that was inside. with weapon in hand he headed out to the Earth realm were he would what at the Inn of the Druids for willing people who except his offer and come with him to find his true destainy. He hoped he would not have to what long,under the cover of the name akienous he passed through the realms toward the inn were his greatest adventure would soon start.

Tobias was once again wandering, aimlessly like usual. The same thoughts tore through his mind...of a possibly force to cure his curse. Instead of burdening himself with the thought, he just continued to wander. He reached a place that was familiar to him. A place not to far from where he crashed for the first time. If he recalled the name correctly, it was called the Inn of the Druid. He sat down at the Inn, and rested for a short while outside of the Inn

seeing what looked like might be a good addition to his journey, he graps two cups of ale and heads for the unknown man who caught his intrest. *handing a mug to the man* "Care for a drink my treat, what is your name good traveler?"

[Tobias]

Tobias, surprised at first by the strange new wanderer, accepts the ale...rather hesatantly: "Umm...hello, my name is Tobias...Tobias Reaver."

Tobias, eyeing the new combatant, concentrates, and determines a strange energy in him...one that was somewhat similar...dark, yet not evil. Tobias clicked back into reality, and he drank some of the ale. "So, what brings you here? And further more...to me?"

"you look like a strong fighter and I need some strong fighters to help me find my way to the shrine of souls, it's a shrine were my mentor is at I need to talk to him greatly, but the roads are hard and the trails can be dangerus. Plus it doesn't hurt to have someone to talk to also." *takes a drink of ale*

[Sperrit]

Sperrit, eyes narrowed in the darkness of the Inn, walks into and spies Tobias. He walks over.
"Hey Tobs! What's going on? What are you doing way the heck out here. You do realize we have a perfectly good Inn back at the Village."
Sperrit turns to Akienous.
"And who's your friend here?"

*bowing low I am Akienous and I have asked your friend for help on my quest." *eyeing Sperrit over you look like you have seen a few battles, would care to join me on my mission to find the shrine of souls?"

[Sperrit]

Sperrit grins.
"I'm always up for a good adventure, especially if it helps out a friend. Count me in."

[Tobias]

"well...me being a wanderer of teh world...i like to travel. But besides that, i was trying to...aww never mind...it aint that important."

Tobias looks at the newly assembled party: "Well then...the shrine of souls...isnt that a somewhere northwest of this region?"

"Then to the north it is, we might be able to pick up more people on the way." *makeing laste minute checks to his gear Akienous looks over at his new traveling companions and wounders what it is like to have friends since the code of the shadow realm is friends are just rivals that must me taken care if needed.* "All right I'm ready when you are."
