If anyone is interested there are some very wise teachers that have published works. They touch on what Carl Jung called the 'Golden Blossom', the underlying experience that comes about with deep contemplation on scriptures and symbolism.

The first gentleman lived not too long ago dying in '86:
J.Krishnamurti
'Think On These Things'
'Total Freedom'
'The First And Last Freedom'
or you can visit a website dedicated to his teachings:
KFA

The second of the three I will mention is Jean Klein. His books are VERY hard to get a hold of and I have only found them through his website:
Jean Klein

And lastly, for those of a Christian spiritual ground, Meister Eckhart. A very insiteful Dominican priest that actually brought me back to terms w/ Christianity.
I only have the name of one of his books:
Selected Sermons
I have not found a good website concerning this teacher yet. If anyone happens to, please let me know.

thanks for the sites man. I love religion and philosophy and myth, so these things are great to learn about. I actually read the whole bible from cover to cover in 8th grade, which really enlightened me, not just from the content, but from the accomplishment.

Now for all of you who like Mythology, there are only really 2 people that u should tap upon to get information.

The first is Joseph campbell, who wrote the book, "The Hero with a thousand faces." I have yet to read it, but it is about the way a hero can fit on a symbolic "hero wheel", which basically is the floorplans for the hero story. This man, in case you didnt know, is known to some as "The Grandfather of Mythology"

The second person, who is refered to as the "Grandmother of Mythology", would be Edith Hamilton. For those of you who take any myth courses, you will probably had or have read the book "Mythology," which is basically every story known to greek/roman mythology, from greek/roman creation, to the explanations of the greek/roman love stories Love

Both books are relatively easy to find, and are great reads for the more "spiritual readers" amongst everyone.

that is all Hmmm

Very cool Tobias!
I wasn't aware of those two authors.
I used to just rely on 'ole faithful: Bulfinch's Mythology.

If you want to learn more about Ganesa, kids. Get your parents to read the Bhagavad Gita to you. Those Hindu

A new face in the arena is Eckhart Tolle.
His 'The Power Of Now' is amazing and powerfully lucid!!
