cold weather sucks!

So last year we got off light here in the DC area. But tomorrow night the weather man is promising as much as eight inches of snow!!!! Did I mention I am from FLORIDA of all places?! Cold weather sucks dude! And no one can see your cute outfits because of all the bundling up.

I went out to vacuum the minivan today for my sister in law and nearly lost my pinky! It only goes to show you that no good deed goes unpunished!

Glad you still have said pinky, but I'll tell you though that cold weather is actually my favorite kind of weather out there. Something about feeling the crisp air hitting your skin is just so invigorating to me.

Of course I also wear shorts every single day of the year, so I'm really not that good of a barometer for the weather

I'm another one in the yay cold weather bandwagon. I really hate hot weather; and bundling up provides some of my better outfits, so.. yeah :3

But I understand the argh cold standpoint if you're from Florida <^.->

i like it when it rains non-stop filled with no 2 seconds without being accompinied by lightning and thunder....the kind of weather where you can step out in your front yard and shadows are everywhere and you stare up at the sky and watch it all and forget about everything going on in your life and just get sucked into the storm and let your feelings,emotions,and hate go all at once while your standing there in the rain wondering what your purpose is on earth.

I have to say I also like the cold weather. You can always put more clothing on to keep warm, but there is only so much you can take off...

Also, it makes for good nights when you are curled up with your gf/bf in bed keeping eachother warm.

Actually... when it comes to cold weather, my gf and I are going to a place where it is colder for vacation. I live in Atlanta and we are going to Denver. Smile

She is going to teach me how to ski, and I may teach her how to dodge a snowball. Laughing

OK, Not to be rude. But talk to me when you have to commute.

Let's face it... you know things are bad when your son's coat stands on its own.

And to add to the issue, everything in our apartment is gas and the gas is out today... for no reason. Just woke up this morning and decided to stay in it's cozy little pipes somewhere under the non-permafrost ground (at least for now). You know what this means? Cold showers, No heater and I CAN'T EVEN COOK DINNER! It would be ok if I could just go to a restaraunt. But since they rely on gas as well, I guess we have to starve!

So wish us luck up here in Herndon and pray to god we don't freeze/starve to death!

Yes, here's to hoping that your situation will improve. And I agree heartilly that unless you have a very good reason, cold showers bite.

wow im sorry to hear that...we should have an ice storm approaching atlanta tonight so we pray for no school tomorrow.... the only time that i take cold showers is when i cant wake up completely....so i hop in the shower with cold water freeze half to death until i wake up and then heat up da water a bit...
