Okay, this week has just been horrible for me!! I need to blow this week off, if you all don't mind. Well, it started on Tuesday, when my car would not start. I was late to work and got "spoken to" by my boss. I put my car in the shop that day, got it back on Wednesday. Thursday, I had to go to court about a ridiculous thing. Back in December, i got pulled over for expired tag. Which I had sent off my advelorum tax before the cop pulled me over, however, I did not have proof. I forgot to put my new insurance cards in my car, so I got a ticket for expired tag and expired insurance. So, I went to court about it Thursday, and the lawyer I spoke to was just horrible and rude to me. I got fined for $170 for expired tag, I showed my proof of insurance, got that taken care of. Well, that night, I was going to class. My class is on the 10th floor of this really old building. I got stuck on the elevator. How fun was that, huh?!!! 30 minutes late to class, but there were some other students from my class on that elevator. Not too mention, on Friday, I found out about my friend's birthday party, the fact that some people weren't going because of me. That made me feel horrible, although I know I brought that upon myself. It's a long drawn out story, that I wish I had never started. I am trying to fix the damages that I have done with that. I am trying so hard, but I can only do so much, right now. I don't have many friends, I am very depressed right now, and I have only 2 friends that are helping me through this. Well, today, Sunday, I went to Best Buy because my radio in my car broke. Not to mention about my car, I need new brakes and new tires. I don't have this kind of money right now. I am a student and spend all my money on books. How sucky is that!!! Well, I find a radio, it is free installation. I go to get it installed, and they were going to charge me $170 to get it installed. The sales guy told me one thing and the Installation guy told me another. I returned it, and now I have no radio in my car, which is not the end of the world, however, my CD (10 disc CD changer won't work because it is FM modulated, that is, it works off the radio). I have no music!!!! Now i Have to go back to court in 2 weeks for another ridiculous ticket. Someone else was going faster than me, passing me, but the cop pulled me over for speeding.
Anybody have any advice to give me to calm me down? LOL Just kidding. Hope no one minds me ranting. Isn't what this place is for? :p |

Someone needs a hug. :hugs: Now that I hope that you feel better, let me just say that never, EVER, feel like you've only got two friends. I hope that I can speak for everyone on this matter and say that you can always IM, call, or pester any one of us to speak to. Despite not having met in person, we're still friends.
Now, as to what happened with the courts, I abhor our beurocratic legal system, and think it spends too much time on the stupid private things and not enough on the important matters of society. Oh yeah, and Best Buy does suckeh much indeed. Ask Ming to tell you a similar story of corporate shenannigans that dealt with Sam Goody.
Hope you feel better!

awww, thanks for the hugs. I know I have you guys here, well, maybe some of you guys. I'm thankful to have the friends that I have right now. I have just wrecked a lot of friendships lately, and I did not really mean to. I actually still love the friends that I used to have, even though they might hate me back. I love them. I love everybody! Some people don't really give me a chance to fix things, and I wish that people would because I can fix things. You need to have faith in your friends right? And trust, or else there is no relationship there, right?
Thx for the friendships here chibis! |

Aww. Poor thing. I don't really know ya all that well, but sympathy for a bad week is sympathy for a bad week either way, right? I understand about the friendship thing. I've wrecked a few myself, and people have that bad tendency to never forgive. Best buy does suck. So does sam goody. Internet blows them both to molecule-sized bits. Either way...I hopes it all gets better for ya. And feel free to IM me any time ya wanna rant, even if it's a daily thing. Hope everything looks up for ya *huggles* |

Here's a quote to think about whenever it goes wrong (or at least it's what I think):
"It's not the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end."
My friend Ophelia used to always say that. (her real name was Jennifer, but we called her Ophelia cause she couldn't swim...See Hamlet if you don't understand. Hee.) It's helped me through alot of bad things, and I hope it does you as much good as it did me. Just repeat the words over and over and over in your head when somthing happens. As stupid as it sounds, it really does work.
And if nothing else...Remember...
:gandalf: Gandalf loves you! |

An interesting quote to say the least. Again I sy that we are here for you, no matter what. That's what being a PO is all about, at least for me. This is a caring community. Remember that.
