well this is how it went...

WARNING: IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HEAR A NASTY BLODDY STORY, THEN I SUGGEST YOU STOP HERE.

well any ways, what happened was i was out at my uncles house today and me and my cousin were shooting our pellet guns. well he shot his and it ricocheted off the tree and hit my leg. well it hurt and i did think it was that bad so i left it alone. well my dad and me went to the store to get some more beer for our cookout and when we walked in he saw blood on the floor and said jacob, is that your blood? and i went outside and pulled my pants leg up and the pellet was in my leg! so i didnt let my dad know about this but (call me stupid or w/e but it had to come out.) so i took me knife and cut my leg open just a little and dug it out with the tip of my knife...it was the most painful thing i have ever done and i am not touching another pellet gun for a long time. i got home and sewed it up and wrapped it in a ace bandage so it should be fine...i didnt like cut my leg open i just stuck the blade in and tore the skin a bit. but i stick it in and pulled the blade up and it popped out and landed on the ground.

yowzers...that had to really hurt. Too bad u didnt have a white mage around to fix u up in ur case of pain.

I have to say, ive bled alot in my life, and ive gotten to the point where i bleed, and just shrug it off. Some times, i bleed so much, whereas i start getting dizzy (and no, im not anemic)(and NO i dont bleed for pleasure!!!) and also, if u bleed around women, they get all sorry for u and want to help that happened to me in scotland, in case u wanted to for some reason know.

I would have done the same thing if I had a pellet stuck in my leg. I wouldn't worry about the pain because I trained myself to take pain like a man!!! :kungfu:

I must commend Akira on his attempts at self mutilation and becoming a student in the art of "Walk it off"-fu. In my family we have practiced this art for much of our history.

I remember back in the day when I got a wart on my hand so I done dug it out with a knife and cartarized the wound with acid. Needless to say I now have no wart but there was no scar so I missed out on that deal.

I'm also fondly remembered of the time I stepped on a rusty nail and it went clear through my foot. My father told me to pull out the nail and wrap it in something so I used an oily rag. My friends, you couldn't MEASURE the amount of pride that beamed from my dads face when I tied the wound and got back to work and didn't complain about it.

yes, i remember when i was riding my bike and i fell off and broke my arm, and had a gash about 2 inches wide and 6 inches long on my leg and a cut across my cheek, i walked home, carrying my bike...my dads eyes glittered with pride when i walked in the door not crying and screaming out bad words like i think i broke my fu**ing arm dammit then he slapped me,"watch your mouth son". i need to wrap it up for the love of god. then my mom hugged me and took me to the hospital. ill never forget that glimmer.....

well, now that i come to think about it, ive never really done anything that severe to myself, except fall and slightly fracture my wrist while attempting to snowboard. But i know how that feeling is akira. My dad doesnt have the glimmering though, but he had the "ur a real trooper" expression on his face.
