I just got back from Florida, where I went for my Spring Break. When I go back to school I have a history paper due on Tuesday, an accounting exam on Wednesday, and part of my final statistics project due Thursday. What the hell is the matter with some teachers? Do they not understand that Spring Break means you're supposed to have a BREAK from work? I had to worry about all of this crap all throughout my break, and I didn't enjoy myself as much as I SHOULD have as a result. I guess some of this is my fault because I COULD have done my work early, but I really didn't have that much time before to do it.
I noticed that a lot of teachers do this, assigning work over an extended break, or assigning work to be due right when you get back. This is so not fair. They get the same time off that we do, and while they get to sit on their asses and enjoy themselves, the students have to stress out about the work that the bastards assigned.

If you completed the assignments, you are a better person than I. When I get assignments over break, I never do them. I don't have Spring Break until *looks at calander* April 7th. *sigh* Ah well. ...Down with break-homework.

Hey, ya know what? It's all a misunderstanding. When they say "School break" That's for the teachers, NOT the students. I mean really, what will they be doing all School break? NOTHING! Afterall, all the shitload of work they give you is for AFTER the school break, so they have nothing to do DURING the school break.

At least in the real world we get vacations that can't be imposed on by breaks. And most jobs aren't take home.
I've learned that if you bring yer work home with you in ANY way shape or form then the job isn't worth having. They don't pay you for down-time so don't EVER bother with it...Well, unless yer a cop, cause you can still arrest people and get overtime for it. |

Yeah, I've thought about that, and the real world doesn't seem so bad. Once your work day is over, it's over for good. You don't have to worry about doing homework or any crap like that. I know that in some jobs you have to take work home, but I don't plan on getting any of those jobs. Once I hit the real world, I'm not working unless I get paid for it. Time is money man. Unfortunately this theory doesn't apply to college.
