I think there should be more Otaku Weekly Polls in addition to the main one. They should be based on other things besides number of posts. Mostly for people who are mainly here for the fights (i.e. me and possibly Lews Therin). Although i cant speak for him, my nature is to not talk, but describe things that im feeling or like in descriptive writing or drawing...heh thats probably why my character is evil  anyways, post ur ideas for new OWP's here, or to ridicule me for having these crazy ideas.

You guys have more then enough posts to get on the poll, that's why you are on it for the second time. This rule is basically for those who don't post at all. There are a number of members that have really cool otaku but have less than 10 posts.
However, this is something we can discuss for the future.

Would be cool if you did polls like "Best quote of the week" or "Most creative use of an emoticon." They don't nessacarily (sp? I loathe this friggin word) have to be more board member polls, but highlight what's being posted on the board to get visitors interested. |

Certainly not exceptional, though.
Anyway, I think Rev's idea is a good one, mostly cause it inspires people to post, sometimes in new and interesting ways, which I think is the side effect you're looking for in the polls and such. Shurikane's idea is also pretty cool, cause we do have some crazy people here on the board. Though I think that everyone would agree on Most Likely to become a Church Preacher. *coughrevcough*
