My writing abilities are have no use in today's society. I suck as an author and writer. A freaking 7 year old with tourettes can write better than me. If I had decent artistic skills like Doot I'd be fine. But nooooooo I get stuck with the hand of "Grunk the Fearless Hunter of the Northern Caves". Everyone else in my family can draw well except for me. Dreams of having something good for me are gone because, lets face it. People loooooooove comics. They do. Get more attention than book writers. Because books have all letters and no pretty pictures. I should just stop right now with the writing. Let it die. Put it down like a dying dog. The only three people I know that are famous and are book authors are Tom Clancy, Steven King, and Dean Koontz. Don't give me the J.K. Rowlings crap cuz she's bleh. God everyone hates a writer if they don't spend both of their kid's college funds on advertisement fees. I shouldn't even bother with my novel idea. Take it out back and burn it. On a grill. Like in the movie Misery. God I hate myself right now.

anyways, everyone (or almost) thinks that their stuff sux, but their friends all say its really good. show some random person off the streets and find out what they think. ask for honesty. it might work.

You know, I've always been convinced that everything I do isn't good enough. It's actually technically a part of my personality-- where I demand perfection of myself, and of course, noone could ever reach it.

The fact of the matter is that if you're so worried about how well you write, then you aren't having fun doing it. And -that- is the only good reason to write. Your writing will actually be better if you're just doing it because you enjoy it, channeling emotions you feel and writing them down, than if you're hoping someone will read it and go "OMG that was great!!!!!!one" Because if you're wanting someone to do that, write some crappy bubbly monkey mischief slash and put it on fanfiction.net and you'll get a ton of it.
