Holy crud! Lewis has newfound respect for...people!?

Yep. Lewis here has found respect for those around him. My car busted down at home and I wanted to get to my mom's place to give her presents. So i get a bus schedule to go up north. Now I thought I was gonna have a horrid time. But guess what? I didn't. The people I came across where EXTREMELLY helpful and nice. I was...well...my head was gonna explode. I found a new friend too. I love old black guys from the south. Funny as hell. Hell, I even stopped off at the mall and went back on to chat with the bus driver some more. Seems he was a cab driver before and went to bigger things. I no longer look down on those asking for help because I was the one asking the most questions. Heh seems this Scrooge found his Three Spirits before Christmas. I soon may become another Sperrit!

It can be hard to remember that in the throng of stupid blind ignorant pricky people out there, there are some real examples of humanity out there too. It seems like people open up more, though, when they are in unfamiliar surroudnings. Not like people aren't at least civil everywhere, but if I'm on a trip with other people or at a con, theres just an underlying feeling of comradere'.
