AWA 2004 Group tickets

Hey guys.... it's that time of the year folks. The time of year you begin to examine your list of cons and decide which ones are deserving of your hard earned money. For many of you, it may be AWA 10, hometown of Pocket Otaku.

While checking their board this evening, I noticed a change in the way they are doing group memberships. To put it bluntly, if PO is to lock in the 15 dollar a ticket rate, we need to submit our first order by March 1st. That is only a month and a half away. And with the sending of monies across various channels, that comes quickly. So here is the deal...

If people would like, I could serve the same purpose I did last year. Unfortunately, due to several large events happening this year, I cannot commit myself to the cooking. However, I can use my powers of solicitation to reduce costs of food at various locations such as pizza, italian, whatever to get us as close to our food budget as we were last year. I can also arrange the table and the group tickets with early pickup and, as always, use my sources for cheap hotel accommodations. This will mean a commitment from at least four people to lock in the cheaper rate tickets within the next two weeks... just to see if we can get the numbers we need.

Ack! Already! I'm saving for AWA10 ever since I returned from AWA9 ^^ but due to my jobs unstability I really ain't in a position to tell if I'll be able to afford an other ticket

My own going to AWA this year depends on B as a cover, so if he goes, chances are I will go as well. If he doesn't, I'm automatically out.

Well ya know I'm in, lady! Which includes I'd say about 7 more tickets with Sak and her crew and such. Are they going to allow add-ons after the March 1st date at the same rate?

yes, they will allow people after march first for the 15 dollar rate. but there will need to be the initial 4 before march first to guarantee the group discount rate.

can you get me a date on all this. if things go well, Myself and Ryoko should be able to make it, but I need a date to make sure so that I can

A) make sure Ryo can get off work, make sure its not a busy time
B) make sure that I get approved to have time off as well

besides that if all goes well I dont see why we couldnt make it

Since I'm planning on LIVING in GA by the time AWA comes around I'm gonna haveta throw my hat into the ring..So sign me up Scotty.

And it's a shame ya can't cook for us...I'll miss yer death defying kitchenesque exploits.

thankie much, Ill see about putting in time now. I dont know about ACEN but AWA should be good as gold. Acen will take some work...and money that im not quite sure I have yet ^^;;
