I was looking on the ACEN web site and I see Dual Jewel made a run up through there after they left A-kon here in the Dallas area. I was just wondering if anyone had any zanny concert stories?

As for mine, well, after some interesting directions, we finally wound up at the convention hotel about 2 after five, where the attendant informs us that we are too late to register for the con. Cut off being at five, we were nont to pissed off and might have had a bit o melencholy for a bit until we perked up and did what any one else in our place would have done.

We accosted ppl in the parking lot and bought their badges. ^_^ Kinda like scalping, only reverse :/

Anyway, we showed in the ball room just in time for DJ to go on stage. They were really fun (and really cute for a bunch of guys) and we had a blast. A japanese speaking chic we had been hanging out with informed us the lead singer (Hayato?) was saying dirty things in japanese while we cheered after every phrase. The longer it went on, the more they could say with a straight face ^_^.

Anyway, after being played to, rocked out, and spit on by that nutsoid guitarist (it was fun!), I bought the CD, got it and my badge signed, yaddy yadda. I have to say the CD, I bought 'Noah', wasn't nearly as good as they are live - for some reason it like they recorded it though a brick wall and the sound is all muffled.
