So I made it into the AP track at school for Engrish, meaning I'll skip a year. Now, the teacher that decides if she wants us investigates a lot of things. She said that I'm fine in all work areas, like my writing and test scores, but teachers she talked to about me said I had 'dicipline issues'.
...WTF, MATE ^^
I have two teachers that actually have the balls (or ovaries) to tell me when they've had enough to my face. Apparently the others go and gripe about it behind my back. Thank you Mrs. Springer and Mr. Houser for at least being honest. What pisses me off the most is that every single one of my teachers jumps into the conversations or jokes that I have with people over half the time, and again, the only ones that ever scold me about it are Springer and Houser. Ellis doesn't like it too much when we're actually working.
Still.
I wish my teachers would all tell me when enough is enough. If I'm talking to them and we're all laughing, how the crap am I supposed to know that it's wrong? Because of all of this, I'm going to be going into a course next year where the teacher already dislikes me. |

...But that shouldn't matter, really. Just straighten up your act by then and prove to her that you can be a good student. |

I'm keeping my act exactly how it is. Whether or not she likes it is up to her. I've a good feeling that at least one of my teachers made far more of a deal than it was by the way she talked about it. If none of the other teachers have commented to me about it, chances are she won't either. If she does, then I'll just be in sophomore gifted. I'm not going to change myself for the man. |

It's okay chrissy...I'm sure she doesn't like hate you just because of the teachers she has talked to. If it makes you feel better I didn't go to the meeting thing and that looks really bad on me.  Probably the only reason I made it is because Mrs. Fisher really likes me. I don't think i'm going to do all that well next year anyways.  My confidence level is about zero right now.  Atleast you are actually smart. The disciplinary issue can be fixed way before the intelligence issue can be. Atleast you made it. What if she didn't give you a chance at all? Then you'd feel really bad. She's not writing you off just yet, you'll just have to tone down your...umm...immaturity a bit in her class to show her that you are serious about her class. I'm sure she'll love you just like all the rest of us do. So don't let it get you down too much.    |

Immaturity? Bah, pull my finger.
The only thing that gets me down is that my teachers didn't have it in them to come to me with their problems first, that they told her without telling me. Again, Springer and Houser let me know when I get out of line, and I respect that. As I've been saying, I believe that it was mostly Stansell that got Mrs. Mason kinda PO'd, and you can ask anyone in that class, it's the only one I behave in. That teacher honestly hates me. |

I don't know Mrs. Stansell but I have only heard bad things. Why would she hate you though? Have you done somethin to her? And plus all Mrs. Mason has to go on is what she hears from other teachers and lets face it Chris, you're not exactly the best behaved in class. I can understand why that would make you mad though. Would it make it better if they said it to your face? |

And therin lies the problemo. You should know on your own the limit. Obviously its School so you shouldn't be talking all the time and "wasting the taxpayer's money" as my history teacher would say. I mean its ok to joke around a little but you shouldn't take it seriously when a teacher starts crackin down. Just cut back a little on the chit chat. Obviously it doesn't bother you but other students might have a hard time to concentrating or whatever. I guess i could give better advice if i'd met your teachers or knew who they were.  |

That's the whole problem. They're not cracking down. They don't tell me when enough's enough, and more often then not actually talk/joke with me. |

Well I have seen that too. In the Air Force you'll get like a Master Seargent who will joke with you all day and razz you a bit. Then the second you say something back, they bust ya with an LOC (Letter Of Counseling) It's the same as getting like a one day detenetion. More so, I cannot believe how long it's been since I was in High School!!!! Thanks for reminding me!!
