Ya, its new years day, and what a better way to spend it then to go work at the barnes and nobles cafe. (NOTE: HUGE SARCASAM TRACES PRESENT)

Well, it wasnt all that bad actually, i got to make coffee, which isnt that bad, and i got to clean stuff...well, to make a long story short, i worked from 11-7 and got time-and-a-half today for work, which made it all worth while. But there were times when nobody came to buy stuff...for a loooong time. Like at one point, no one bought stuff for an hour straight. That was mighty boring...to the point that it hurt

But yea. The main point that i have to bring up is about the customers at barnes and nobles. This is the problem i have: Its new-years day, 11 in the morning, and the store is about to open...AND THERE ARE PEOPLE WAITING OUTSIDE!! Shouldn't u all be home making a nice huge breakfast, having a nice relaxing day at home?!?!

Well, maybe thats just me. It kind of pissed me off how the first couple that came into the store made a B-line right for the cafe, and decided to buy a whole regemine of brunch (this being a latte, a cafe mocha, a hot chocolate, 2 scones, 3 bowls of soup, and a partchridge in a pair tree )...which wasnt the most fun for me to do, but meh, what are ya gonna do about it? Anywho, how did you guys spend new years?

i was and still am at my cousin's house. We drove down to universal city and hung out at city walk. After that we went to a nearby fatburger to eat. Then off to more new years partying. Overall pretty fun.

I know the pain Tobias, I worked from 8 to 8 on the 1st (hate2hate like I like to call it sometimes <_<) x-x. Kinda killed all possibilities to have a wild party on new-year's eve. But meh, like I say, there is always chinese new-year's celebrations
