My absolute favorite book. Based on the greatest samurai ever to live, Miyamoto Musashi. Long drawn out drama/epic but done very well. Originally written by Eiji Yoshikawa (but of course translated by others). Theres also a movie trilogy for it called Samurai, very old subtitled japanese movie but its a wonderful book to movie rendition. If you've read it or seen the movie, what did you think of it? |
