Ok guys, here it is, what you've all been waiting for. The battle system has been reworked and its time to start the the Third PO Wars Tournament! With the new battle system, everyone is going to have to rework their stats a bit.

Everyone else, there are a few new changes. First off endurance will now only contribute 2 times to your total HP. Thus, your hp will be double your endurance, then plus your Strength. Thus if my STR stat is 500 and my END stat is 800, my HP will be 2100. Second, all stats, with the exception of Strength now only contribute to one factor. These are as follows.

Strength: Damage Dealt and HP
Endurance: Total HP
Accuracy: Chance of hitting
Agiligy: Chance of evading

Due to the change in stat calculations, any previous users who wish to alter their stats may do so without going back to level 1. Just be sure to use the same point distribution as your current level allows.

There are no restrictions on who can join this tournament. Since this will be the first tournament that participants with different levels can join in, I'm asking that you add an Experience Points area to the stats in your signature. All previous participants, this should be the same as your current number of wins. The way this will work, a fighter will gain 1000 experience points for each win against a fighter of equal level. However, in addition, if a fighter of a lower level defeats a fighter of a higher level, he will gain an additional point for each level higher his opponent is. Thus, if a level 1 fighter defeats a level 3 fighter, the level 1 fighter will gain 1000 experience point for winning, and 2000 more for his opponent being 2 levels higher. To all newcomers, don't worry, efforts will be made to pair up fighters of equivalent levels as much as possible.

Finally, this tournament will be held a little differently. General Mythril and I will be co-BM'ing the tournament. The participants will be split randomly into two smaller tournaments depending on the number of participants we have(for example, if 16 people sign up, there will be 2 8-person tournaments). One of the smaller tournaments will be BM'ed by General Mythril, and the second by myself. At the end, the winners of each tournament will face off to determine the overall champion. General Mythril and I will be fighting in the tournaments as well, but in each other's brackets. Wouldn't want anyone thinking its rigged now would we?

Anyway, I think that pretty much covers everything. Please post your stats in this topic and in your signature if you want to join in. We need at least 16 people, possibly more, so join up asap! Thanks!

Oh, and don't use the stats in my sig for a basis, I haven't updated them yet. Azurel's are good to go though.

NOTE: The way we do experience points has changed. Your experience points reset when you go to the next level. For all fighters that have wins, please put EXP in your stats and your current exp is 1000 times the total wins you have at your level.

Example.
It takes 1 win (against fighters of equal level) to get to level 2.
It takes 3 wins (against fighters of equal level) to get to level 3.

Musashi is level 2 and has 2 wins.
So he is level 2 with 1000 experience points.

Shino is level 3 and has 3 wins.
So I'm level 3 with 0 experience points.

Gorty is level 3 with 4 wins.
So he is level 3 with 1000 experience points.

The amount of exp you need to get to the next level is your currently level times 1000.

Musashi needs 2000 exp to reach the next level.
Shino needs 3000 exp to reach the next level.
Gorty needs 3000 exp to reach the next level.

Any extra exp over what you need carries to the next level.

example
if I am level 3 have 2500 exp and I get 1000 for winning a fight
I move up to level 4 and have 500 exp to start.

Just as a reminder, be sure and add an Exp Points category to the stats in your sig. Right now its not that important since your Exp Points are the same as your number of wins, but if you happen to fight someone at a different level it might make a difference. This way, the BM's can keep track of level ups a bit more easily. Thanks guys!

Umm... excuse me... I was the one that said you can do this... and you don't have me in your list of current combatants... shame on you.

When everyone has signed up, I will be distributing the fighters into their brackets due to level differences and other factors.

If we happen to get more than 16 fighters, then we will attempt to get 32 to have 2 16 fighter tournaments with the final 2 battling eachother.

In the unlikly event that Musashi and Gorty should fight eachother in the final fight, I will be BMing that fight.

Also about Experience points. As Musashi said, you will get extra exp for defeating someone of higher level then you. The inverse is also true.

If you are level 3 and you defeat someone that is level 2, you will get 500 exp instead of 1000 for a normal defeat.

I need to run some tests with different level fighters to make sure this is still fair. I don't think it will change.
