OK here is a new update to the tournaments...

Losing fighters will get experience points...

1/4 of the lower of the two winning experience amounts.

So if a level 1 fights a level 4 and wins, they get 4000 exp. But if the level 4 wins, he gets 125 exp and the level 1 gets 1/4 of that. This will promote the fighting of equal levels.

So if a level 2 fights another level 2, the winner gets 1000 exp and the loser get's 250.

that is a tough bracket up there. I feel bad for Tobs and Musashi too, having to fight each other first round.

Oh, gods. That bracket looks like I have to fight Doot-sama for my first battle. *sigh* I guess I'll wait until the next PO Wars, then, before I have a shot at making it to level 2.

(Although, Shino, the level 1 should probably get more experience fighting and losing to a level 4 than 1/4 of 125. If it should turn out that by some miracle, a 1 and a 4 should ever engage each other in battle. No matter right now, because it won't happen, but for the future...)

You are correct, right now it won't matter b/c I decide how it's set up.

The reason it is like that is b/c we want to promote like levels fighting eachother when the automated system comes out and you guys are challenging eachother.

I'm hoping that system will be done by AWA, but it's getting tight.

By the way, everyone should not worry about their record right now b/c when the new system comes out everyone will be reset to level 1 and get to recreate their character.

lol...battle of speed i guess. Cant wait to fight ya Musashi. As far as the 1/4 points thing...i think it does work out, just that you dont get lots of EXP...kind of like in Fire Emblem...if you attack and miss, but get hit, you still get 1 exp. Sure, its not a lot, but it does add up for all the attacks and such

And like Shino said...this IS all getting reset later, so nyah!

Ah, interesting. Once that system is in place, we'll have to test the bugs right out of it. Right now, though, I should be getting ready for my rebound battle with Doot. Either way, the new system looks interesting...

Ok guys, Welcome to my bracket!

Now, I'm real short on time right now so I'm sorry to enform you that I won't be able to start the battles until next week. It's a pain in the ass to try and stay connected long enough at my house to try and do them, so I'm gonna wait until i can get frequent access at my school. I will try and start soon, but until then, there won't be too much action.
