It does drive me nuts. I wish people would take the time to write/type it out. Or stop using it as filler. The other thing I dislke out of that is the "k thx bye" Just comes off as being disrespectful and rude. I'm moving to England. |

Heh-heh...
I've actually been accused of being older than I am because I prefer to use words rather than acronyms. To some degree, that's amusing. However, since I consider IM and forums to be places of conversation, I'm naturally going to type is as if I were talking with someone, instead of typing at a screen.
And besides, since I tend to *snicker* more than I tend to LOL, naturally, I shy away from that sort of speak. And I agree with Doot about "kthxbye" and Shino about people being lazy. You don't speak that way, why do you type that way?! Grr... |

Me and my Homey actually use STFU in normal conversation...But we pronounce it Stufu...Oh and Noob...He'd be playin a game and get shot or somethin and I'd be all, "Fuggin Noob." Even though we refrain from ever saying Noob in game. |
