Heeeee! I'm going to the Renaissance Festival in just over an hour!

..am extraordinarily hyper, as you can see. Despite being half asleep, because am an idiot.

At any rate, I'm trying out something completely different from my usual Ren. Fest. costume this year. I'm wearing the harem-girl-esque outfit I got last year....and no swords. Because the swords really don't fit. I makes me sad to leave my beloved scimitars behind, but it must be done. Partially because one of them does not yet have a sheathe.

And so, I will be defenseless! ...except not really, because I'll still be wearing my big black boots and I still know where to kick. Go me! ^_^

...I should wear my dagger. Somewhere. Somehow. Even if it is a girly decorative dagger.

Okies, I guess I should post this here, and maybe make a new topic about it soon. I would absolutley LOVE a Georgia Rennesciance Festival Pocket Otaku Meet Up. ^_^ Say that three times fast. Now. Right now.

Anyway, I hope you have hun Shan, and I hope you plan on making another trip this year, so we could all go ^___^

I"m probably going next week as well. And likely sometime in early June around my birthday. Otherwise, I really can't afford to go many more times. >_< The only reason I'm going next week is A) I left my bodice and shirt at Magda's Palace last year, and the lady there said they still had it and she was going to bring it tomorrow, but I really can't go tomorrow, so I figure next weekend is the next best thing. And B) my best friend is definitely going with his parents then, and I really really really want to spend time with him, as it hasn't been just him and me in forever.

So yeah. If any of you want to go either this weekend or whatever weekend is closest to June 2nd, let me know and I'll be happy to find a spot/time to meet up with you.

I went on a field trip to the GA Renaissance Festival when I was in eighth grade. It was pretty fun.

However!

There is much, much, much, much drinking to be done.

So I guess it balances out.

*grin* I'll see if I can find where I uploaded a couple pictures I have of me in the shirt and pants I was wearing...though it's not quite the same because I do have one of my scimitars and my hair is down in the picture, but eh.

And it was only that one time. I think I'll probably be bringing my scimitar next time, because I felt sooo weird without it, and complained quite a bit too.
