Ok, so I listen to, almost religiously, our local station, . I listen in the morning on my way to work. I listen on the drive home.

Well cool deals today is that the organizaton everyone in my department at work is a member of just had a meet n greet style thing with Aamco Transmissions n stuff. Thing is there is one of the DJs at 99x who does spots for them, Axle, and he took us on a studio tour today. They were asking all sorts of trivia, and typically everyone who is a part of this organization are the older (non-99x listeners) so I scored tons of swag!

I gots a koozie, a shirt, 2 cds (Damien Rice and a Live X performance cd of multiple artists), free tickets to the Renaissance Festival (buttloads! so if anyone needs some!), free braves tickets, keychains, license tags, $100 of transmission repair/maintenance, free preview passes to the movie Coffee and Cigarettes, and the one major thing I am stoked as all hell for.

I won free tickets to see one of the most amazing local artists, ANGIE APARO! If you have not heard him, his voice is about the most heart wrenching thing I have ever heard. He's amazing and I have been frothing at the gills to see him. And now I have TWO FREE TICKETS! (Too bad Sciler isn't here - she would be me date.) I have one other person in mind but I dunno if they will go or not so anybody in the ATL area who is a fan of Mr. Aparo, lemme know! I may need a date!

I'd take a Renassance ticket but after they started making their turkey legs out of Pork I've pretty much lost all interest in going..Tee-hee.

JEEZ thats a ton of stuff. like a zillion tickets ^_^. Only thing i've ever won was a t-shirt for entering a coloring contest when i was seven lol.

oh my god...uh Dooters? please don't laugh...but what is a koozie?

by the way that's friggin awesome....alot of free stuff...and I love to see local bands...they need support..and some of em are awesome

A koozie is the thing you put around a can of soda or beer that keeps your drink cold and your hand warm. Normally made out of a foamy substance that fits tightly around the can.

Ohhhhhhh i know what those are. Never heard them called koozies before. We call them can coolers.

Can coolers!? Oh man, for as long as I have lived we called em koozies. hehehe And that was in Cali too! Anywho, yeah. I REALLY wanna take Sciler to Angie but ~sniffle~ she cannuh makie it.

I thought a Koozie was one of them things that Rosie O'Donnel useta shoot at people in her audience looking to injur children and any men who accidently wandered into her show.
