my games and consoles collections been growing and growing recently (i got a saturn again a cploe of months back, and bought an XBox, getting a SNES again on sunday and maybe getting a Neo Geo Pocket Colour on friday) and im not getting chance to complete games that are great, im stuck between zelda wind waker, metroid prime and star wars kotor atm, now theres another zelda on the horizon, the next gta, gt4, metroid, half life 2, halo 2 and doom 3................................. i think the next few years are gonna be a golden generation in gaming that we haven't seen since the SNES and Mega Drive days |

Welcome to my world. You know, I counted my PS2 games the other day... I have almost 50 games for PS2
It's getting scary. There's just way too many cool games out. |

I have a pathetically small number of games on hand. I rarly have more than seven or eight, I keep trading them in while they're hot for high credit, and buying them later at cheaper prices. I still have the save, and by the time its cheap again I feel like playing them again.
Take that, system!
As for this generation of games coming out, Im looking to add Jak 2 and Ratchet and Clank: GC and MR4 to my list of conquered. The last two quarters held the stuff I really wanna put time into, but the stuff comng out this summer looks spectacular. You may be right, this is quite the generation to be a gamer ^_^ |

but then again, there have been some great games on the past generation of consoles too, take MGS, FFVII and Soul Calibur.
can any of you get hold of a british magazine called Games tm in america, it makes great reading, covers all current consoles and has a retro section that looks back at a different console/computer each month, i know thats totally off topic, but it always gets me in the mood to switch my SNES/Saturn/N64 or Dreamcast on again |
