Duh it's the 80's for me.....just fantastic music from Abba all the way to ZZ Top...

my favorites would easily be Genesis or Phil Collins on his own

Excel man, this is tough. I just can't seem to bring myself to accept just ONE of these eras. There's great stuff from any of them, and I have found that I love many bands and songs from all these eras. I guess if I have to vote, I'll have to say the 90's, only because it was in the 90's that I developed my taste in music in the first place, and began to assemble the music collection that I have today.

the music seems to get better every year, so I have to say I have no specific decade into which I am locked. My chosen year is the present, but that will change as the present changes.

Which is true..From music to porn...Like 4 letters...Everything in the 80's was better.

Songs had actual music and lyrics and weren't synthesized (Late 80's don't count)

You could listen to ANY song on the radio with your mother in the car. Sure they were sexual but they were sexually subversive. Not like today where rap station play songs about putting long man extensions into female exhaust and intake valves. Not to mention trying to explain what the song is about when it's about how suicide can be fun.

Plus the best music Genre was in the 80's with bands like the Ramones, Bruce Springstein and Bon Jovi..Yes Punk music was a mainstay in the 80's as well it should be. Plus Primus started its circus type melodies and White Zombie sucked less...Not to mention Metallica was good and the Beatles were dead...Oh..And Michael Jackson was still Black and not maried to Lisa Marie Presley.

Man the 60's were the best, the Beatles the most talented band in centuries came from that decade. Also Bob Marley got his start in the 60's. At least 60% of the musical genius from the past centuries comes from the 60's.

I say I'm privvy to loving at the even decades 20's, 40's, 60's 80's, but so far the 2000's are leaving me unimpressed.
