Not sure if this goes here. But it is pretty geeky.
Which came first FFVIII or Star Wars II: Attack of the killer clones. Um I mean attack of the Clones. I know it sounds stupid but being a fan of Square and a fan of George Lucas I have to know they didn't rip eachother off. |

Clones might have been scriptwritten before either VII or VIII, but in actual release, VII and VIII precede AotC. And besides, it's not that much of a unique idea to be worried about people ripping each other off for it. The Twilight Zone might have had them both beaten. |

NO! NO! IT'S NOT THE CLONES I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!
there was this one seen in FFVIII where this Galabadian soldier attacks Squall and the two are flying through the air. you come up on this FMV and there's all the SeeDs fighting the G. soldiers. and it looks just like the scene from SW Episode II where they're all in the arena and remember where all the bad guys attach all the jedi. (the huge fight scene) these scenes are EXACTLY the same... but i've got to know- who ripped off who??? |

Well..I meant Lucas prolly ripped off someone else to get Attack of the clones.
Which you may have understood but I'm not sure..The hero dying and the shanking of Lucas was wierd..hehehe |

But I donno I just think it's crappy if big names like Square and Lucas Works are ripping each other off. Like think of it this way:
Zobies have been done millions of times. Dawn of the Dead (the original not that crappy remake) Was the best zombie movie ever. But I still thought Resident Evil (Both Movie and game[OMG RE 0 was the shizzle]) was original. Does that make sense? So you can be original and cliched at the same time... |
