This is for me and anyone else who just wants a little place to grumble about nothing...
It's after 5, I'm still in the office.
Its cold, wet and nasty outside
My nose keeps running and is all dried out
My eyes are watering
I'm stuck wearing my glasses today, which are digging into my head causing a headache and more sinus pressure
I'm cheating on my diet and munching on popcorn
I'm not happy with the current holiday plans
I'm having trouble getting motivated enough to get moving more on this RFP
I feel so stressed w/ my life yet lack the motivation to get all that i need done...
My flaky friend can't hold a conversation online
I have no clue what to do about dinner |

Sounds like you had a down day, we all have them, and despite you being on a diet, you need the odd bit of something you enjoy to help you through those down periods.
I have no need to diet, in fact I'm trying to put weight on (slowly achieving that due to Charly feeding me alot of steaks, chops and mince dishes! you can no longer see the bottom of my ribs or the tops of my hip bones yay!), but thats nothig to dowithmy point, whenim feeling down I can easily work my way through a big bag of McCoys Tortillas, 4 pack of Cadbury's Double Deckers and a cartoon of Chocolate Nesquick, then go in the kitchen and make a chip butty (as in English chips, which are Chunky Fries to you guys!) |

Today is a little better...The Turkey Day events are looking better. And I swapped back over to my contacts...which I do SO much better with. I just need to figure out a good time for an eye appointment. I had to crack into my last pair of contacts and lately my eyes have been all wonky...really itchy and I swear I feel like my eyesight has improved. My main vison problem is a massive astigmatism that i pretty much caused by going 20 years w/o glasses thanks to a cruddy doctor. I normally can't see very well at all when I don't wear anything...especially if I've just taken out my contacts. But lately, I can pretty successfully sit and watch TV w/o anything...which makes me wonder if my eyes have changed.
Anyway, as long as they still make contacts for me to correct it, I'm fine w/ whatever my eyes are up to. |

Its possible they have changed, my step mums a dispensing optician nad has sorted out less powerful lenses for those that didnt need something so powerful anymore.
I used to have to wear glasses, but I had a lazy eye, you can visibly tell when I'm tired just by the reactions of my eyes nowdays. |

Its possible...just weird timing. I went to a different doctor in my group last time and he gave me a really high prescription and put both eyes in the same strength just for the heck of it...maybe I don't need then so strong now...
I know something has changed...I feel like the shape of my eyes is different b/c my contacts are not sitting quite like they used to...so maybe that's a good thing.
Who knows...either way they'll get taken care of soon enough. |

Its possible that your previosu optician/doctor did do that.
I went from having perfect teeth to suddenly needing fillings when I changed dentist, but the area my new dentist was in was pretty rich and I went in as an NHS patient, so the more he had to do, the more he got off the state...
Oddly enough, when I went back, he'd been removed from dentistry and replaced for fixing the books! |
