Wasn't the PS2 chip a chip taken directly from a nuclear missiles guidance system? Hence why the US tried to stop production of the PS2 when it first came out? |

what happened was PS2s were being bought, gutted, and used for nuclear missle guidance systems in other countries.
I believe that is what happened.
At the time, the ps2 was way cheaper than anything they could get for the systems and it was better. Scary thought huh?
Imagine when Sony and IBM finish the cell chip. |
