Heh... you thought I was going to be posting a trailer didnt you!!! Fooled you again!!

Anyways, we want to make a trailer for the RPG. We know programs to use for the video editing and adding music, however we dont know how to capture the footage from the game.

Basically we are looking for something that will allow us to record whatever is on the screen into an avi or similar video file.

It's easy. You screen-capture each frame, and then string them together.

best way is to make a development-only recording function that you turn on and off that takes a screenshot just of the game every .2 seconds or so and stores it say as a bitmap in a special folder; then you can use an actual outside program to put them together as a video.

at least, that's the easiest way.

just hit f7 repeatedly as you walk Dai, then sting them together in Vegas. Time consuming but effective.
